Can I use Proactiv Solution with other medications?
- Yes, you can generally use Proactiv® Solution with
most other acne medications. Use this list as
a guide, and be sure to read the comments next to each
medication. If you have any question or concern, we recommend
you consult your doctor.

Start
by using the products on alternating days, then increase
to a routine of Metrogel by day and Proactiv® Solution
by night. |
| Depo-Provera |
Proactiv® Solution
can be used while taking birth control pills or shots.
Oral antibiotics used to treat moderate to severe
acne may decrease the effectiveness of birth control
pills or Depo-Provera injections. |
| Glyderm
or other glycolic acid product |
Glyderm
and other glycolic products can be used in combination
with Proactiv® Solution. |
| Topical
Erythromycin, Clindamycin, Azelex or Differin |
Use
Proactiv® Solution Renewing Cleanser and Revitalizing
Toner. After the Revitalizing Toner dries, apply
the prescription gel. |
| Accutane |
No
other treatment is needed while you're on Accutane. |
| Retin

your dermatologist before using more than one topical

Acid |
Using
other topical acne medications at the same time,
or immediately following each other, may increase
skin dryness or irritation. If this occurs, use only
one medication unless directed by a doctor. |

- The pH Balance in the Toner is 3.0 - 4.0; in the Renewing
Cleanser 5.2 - 6.0; and in the Repairing Lotion 5.3 -
6.0.
Will the Benzoyl Peroxide in Proactiv Solution cause
tattos to lighten or fade?
What is the main ingredient in the Daily Oil Control?
- There is no one active ingredient in the Daily Oil Control,
but a combination of several ingredients known as
micro sponge technology. This technology is designed to
control excess oils.
